Privacy policy generally covers the personal information that is personally identifiable like member’s name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. But we do not keep member’s name and affiliation private as this is important who is behind the comments or message.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that bdresearchers does not own or control, or to people that bdresearchers does not employ or manage. In addition this privacy policy does not cover certain bdresearchers associated groups, such as, bdresearchers-ict, bdprofessionals etc.

Information Collection and Use
bdresearchers requests for personal information when a member subscribes to the group. However, this is optional; the member can skip this part or may request not to publish the information (partially or completely).
bdresearchers does not share members’ personal information with anybody except when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
- We respond to court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the group’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
- We transfer information about the members if bdresearchers is acquired by or merged with another company. In that case, we will notify the members before the information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Members’ Ability to Edit and Delete the Subscription Information and Preferences
The members can edit their bdresearchers subscription information including email-receiving preferences at any time.
We reserve the right to send certain communications relating to the group service, such as service announcements, administrative messages.
The members can unsubscribe from the group at any time.
Confidentiality
We generally do not hide the member’s email address sent with the email. Member, does not wish to publish his/her email address with the message, should add the information in the subject line or top of the email body. Members are requested to add their proper signature in that case.
The member-list of the group is protected from the public and the members of the group. We limit access to personal information about the members to employees or volunteers who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to the members or in order to do their jobs.
Members may keep their email addresses and other information hidden while inserting their information in the database section.
If the member wants to hide his/her Yahoo id and email address with the resource he/she uploads to the group, we can provide the privacy. In that case, the member should send us the document to upload through email.
bdresearchers may update this policy; we will notify the members about significant changes by sending a notice.
