Those who have experiences of purchasing apartments in Dhaka might have seen that even though the advertisement for a flat was for say ‘x’ sft., the time when the developer hands over the flat one gets an area much less than x. Well, they consider some of the areas for common use (like staircase, water tank, common lobby etc.) to have been added to it. While this is the common scene, strangely one group of developers (provider of apartments in multi-storied buildings) of Dhaka city gives more spaces than what is written in the documents.
